School

Well, I made it through the first 3 weeks of school! I have decided that school is hard, boring, and makes you get cramps in your hands for writing so much. My first period at 7:40 is English with Ms.Nodolf. She is okay, but really strict about somethings, mostly homework. I next have History, also with Ms.Nodolf. ): She gave me 50% credit on something just because I turned it in a little late (which has lowerd my grade from an A+ to a B because we've only been at school for a couple of weeks). Then, third period is my elective, Exploration,(right now I have Computers) with Mrs. Carlson. She is okay but her voice really annoys me, it sounds like a dying bird. For fourth period I have Mrs.Book, for Science. She is freakin' amazing! Everything about her screams amazing! She's not strict, mean, or "off the ball". I have P.E. for fifth period, with Ms.Smiley, yes, Smiley. She's okay, I mean she's not mean or anything, but she's not too great. Last but not least, I have Algebra 1 with Mrs.Osterkamp for sixth period. She's pretty good but boring at the same time. I finally get to go home at 2:30. That is what happens at Barrett for you. Pretty exciting. I am not sure when basketball is going to start but I'm sure that I'm going to try out to make the competitive team.

L.A Pictures Slideshow

L.A

Well, as you might know, Katie and I went to L.A the week before school started. We had a great time, the highlight of the trip was going to magic moutain. At magic mountain they had the best ride in the WORLD! It's called X2, it is amazing. your seats can rotate, blast music, and everything else while going on a 80 mile per hour ride that has a 200 foot vertical drop. It was amazing! While in L.A we went to the beach and Crystal Cove (a california natoinal park)which was cool, because of all of the sea enenimi (or however you spell it), hermit crabs, and sea cucumbers.

Sons of Liberty

Well, as you might know, august 6-9 I was at the Sons of Liberty Encampment. There were many activitie that I got to enjoy. I went down the Waterslide about 15 times, the zipline 3, I went scuba diving, canoeing, knife throwing, tomahawk throwing, shot some arrows, and a lot of others. We had some famous speakers come too. The most famous were L Tom Perry and John Bytheway. And guess what....I shook L Tom Perry's hand and spoke with him! Both of John Bytheway's and L Tom Perry's talks were really great!I'm sorry that I don't have pictures of this yet, I have to wait until my scout master sends them to me. I'm also expecting to get all of my scout camp pictures too. So keep yourself posted.
